This Cookbook is one of my favorite projects. It was designed to be a child's first cookbook and therefore had a soft fun design to put the user at ease and is full of simple but delicious recipes designed to teach simple skills without overwhelming the young cook.
The color palette for this project was primarily soft pinks designed to create a relaxing feel while also providing strong contrast to the black text making this book an easy read. The book has many fun design elements such as the pattern on the cover or the flower designs in the margins. Altogether these elements create a sweet engaging book for young readers and beginner chefs.
